Our Research Fellows

We develop academic and administrative proficiencies in neurosurgery and global neurosurgery among our research fellows. The AFAN research fellowship provides exposure and experience in these areas and guides participants to strengthen their independent research and data analysis skills through collaboration with multidisciplinary research teams. Participants develop their knowledge and improve their abilities through conducting, presenting on, and publishing research on the neurosurgical conditions affecting patients in Africa and proposing and testing strategies to improve the delivery of neurosurgical care in these settings.
